Monthly Flight Review #1

Cabin Crew, be seated for take off!

EN: From today on there will be monthly flight reviews on my blog  so you can always see at a glance, or even read, where I was on flight the previous month. Cabin Crew, be seated for take off!

EN: Always when someone asks me where I was last month, then I  often have to think for a while. Somehow sometimes I am unable to keeply track of where I was, since I fly from the one to the other side of the world.

In May it was indeed a super smooth start with my days off, but then followed by my first Standby Line. That means I had a few days standby and must appear within one hour at the airport, in uniform. Since I am usually a very structured person, I was initially stressed internally, because I did not know where the next flight will go to.

EN: I started my standby day with a flight to Delhi for the first time. I was really happy that I had a longhaul flight but at the same time it occurred to me that I somehow had the wrong clothes in my suitcase. Just a jeans short and a tank top plus a swimwear. The short stay was still great and I could see a bit of the city.

„New York is always a good idea!!“

Mein Herz schlägt für New York City!!

EN: After my Delhi flight I had a few days off in beautiful Vienna. After that I was already back in Munich, as my standby time was not over yet. In Munich there was only time to wait. And this for two full days. On these days, all flights were fully occupied by the crew. These  days I used to maintain my friendships in Munich. For a delicious breakfast in Munich City and a pyjama party I was happy to be there.
„Standby Jackpot“ I called the flight to New York. You know:
„New York is always a good idea !!“
No more words needed. My heart beats for New York City !!

EN: My last two scheduled flights for the month were Montreal and Charlotte (North Carolina). Before I travel to a new city, I like to by inspired through the web and pinterest. In Montreal I really wanted to get to the Mount Royal to have the wonderful view over the city. The weather was perfect here.

EN: In Charlotte, I started a little smoother. My day I started with my „Morning Ritual“ and a visit in the fitness center. Perfectly, if you’re up early in America. 😉 Then we went to a wonderful breakfast: Lunas LivingKitchen (vegan). More breakfast inpiration you can find here.

        Alles Liebe,
        Andrea

    1. Liebe And!

      Many happy landings,
      Carola
